Kendons in the Community
Since the beginning, Kendons has been working quietly in the community supporting the many worthy causes that we care about.
Here are just some of the organisations we're proud to be involved with.

Life Education Trust
Life Education in New Zealand was founded in 1988. Its philosophy is based on building self esteem in children from a young age. More than 220,000 NZ children are reached annually by the Education message.
Kendons supports the Lower Hutt Life Education Trust by providing secretarial services from paying bills to invoicing and payroll - to providing office storage - right down to cupboard space for 'Harold' the giraffe. Steve Graves as a founding trustee is very involved with the day to day running of the trust.
"Kendons' partners have been unstinting in their support of Steve and the members of the staff assigned to Life Education's administration and events at considerable internal costs. The professional expertise and presentation of timely financial accounting has always been of the highest standard."
- Brian K Shearer JP, Founder Chairman (1998-2005) Life Education Trust Hutt Valley, Board Member Life Education Trust (NZ)

Wellington Sculpture Trust
Wellington Sculpture Trust commissions sculpture for public spaces to enhance the urban environment and to support the creative arts in New Zealand.
Pat Sheehan is passionate about the Wellington Sculpture Trust and has been very actively involved for the past five years. His involvement includes preparing monthly accounts and attending trustee meetings.
"Pat's pro bono monthly and annual financial statements underpin the confidence of the trustees and our supporters and enable us to get on with our core business."
- Neil Plimmer, Chairman Wellington Sculpture Trust

Laura Fergusson Trust
The Laura Fergusson Trust has, for over 40 years, provided services and facilities to meet the specific needs of people with disabilities.
Pat Sheehan derives enormous satisfaction from preparing accounts, attending trustee meetings and interacting with the people who live at the Laura Fergusson Trust hostel accommodation in Lower Hutt. The hostel provides rehabilitation and accommodation for around 28 residents.
"For more than a decade Pat has guided and advised his fellow trustees on the Board of Laura Fergusson Trust. Pat's professionalism, his financial and accountancy expertise has been invaluable in securing the strong financial position of the trust."
- John Kennedy-Good, Chairman Laura Fergusson Trust Wellington Inc
